How about if we had actually played football through the 2nd-4th quarters against LSU *and* managed to score 2 TDs and a FG (or 1 TD and 3 FGs) against Clemson instead of constantly laying eggs on offense for the entire game?
Maybe but that is not what he said.
Since we are doing what ifs, what if we just won every game we ever played and then there would never be a question. I think that is very possible. Because it happens all the time
Unless you paid attention, there were "0" undefeated teams in country that had any shot of making the play offs. You guys act like its easy to always do the right things in the games and make the right calls. La la land
shite is not easy when you are out there in the game. Its always easy to make the calls from your computer.

Do you disagree with my supposition that a coach being paid at the rate that Gus is should have his offense ready to go Game 1 rather than to use Games 1-4 to work through the kinks before rolling out the new model year?

The other coaches are being paid the same to stop him. Some say Gus doesn't make adjustments at halftime, now his season adjustments are too late.......if you look at our schedule this year we played 4 games against the 4 playoff teams and still went 10-3 with a shot at the SEC Championship. I will take that.

This is not emotional. Its business.
This. Malzahn has an established program with momentum. Recruiting is going well and the cost to replace that and rebuild would be higher than what it is to pay Gus.
Disgusting that the coaching market has gone this way, but it is what it is. Expect higher ticket prices, higher donor contribution requirements and much higher tuition.
OOS tuition now is 28K a year. I fully expect that to go to 35-40K a year. Hell, Oklahoma OOS tuition now is 40K.
