If Steele and crew are retained, then I say the new guy is a plug and play type and PTB kept Steele and staff to have access to the program.

I mean, it really depends on what you want to believe. Who knows if any of that shite was true or not. It appears that everyone was just throwing shite out there and seeing where it stuck

What it did do though was taint a already tainted leadership of the program. Auburn has always been looked at as a program with meddling and all the BS this past two weeks either confirmed it or smoke screened it.

Clown show at its finest. The entire process


Hopefully the hire is solid and we can get some guys on board to help him

And ruining people's good name in the process. I would be surprised if there aren't defamation suits filed after all this. If it isn't true, then I would be pissed if I were Steele.

The thing is, though, is most press outlets didn't run with any of the "Steele behind the back" stuff (they know better). That was Internet talk, but it spread far and wide.
