figure out the LG position (I would add C to this, but Brahms is all we got).. Council has been bad this year

Has Kiondre Jones been starting at RG? Maybe slide him to LG and try out Manning at RG?

ETA: Disappointing that Jalil Irvin hasn't been able to progress any. I know he was a 3 star guard out of high school, but if you go back and look at his offer list, it's damn impressive.

Yeah KJ has started all year. He's probably our best OL. The coaches haven't really touched the right side of the OL all year.. they already put KZ in at LT lst game and they we're rotating Council. I don't know what the move will be, but I bet we see a little bit different line up against Ole Miss.

I think the German played really well especally in pass pro, Move Trox to RT or Coffee, and bring Ham to RG and Move KJ to LG....boom...helps sure up the run game with better G play.

The number 1 thing we have to do on offense is figure out the LG position (I would add C to this, but Brahms is all we got).. Council has been bad this year. I don't know if playing Manning is the answer or if we should move Hamm there and play Trox or Coffey at RT, but we have to do something.

Number 1 thing on defense isn't really a personnel thing.. We have to get better on 3rd downs. We also need to figure out the N position too. Kaufman hasn't been good and Knighten is too slow to play there. Might be time to finally get Tennison on the field.

Good points. Manning must be in the doghouse for effort or stepping out of line. Otherwise IDK why he's not really played.

Kaufman is a step too fast and the game hasn't slowed down and he's out of position, IMO. Knighten is a step slow and I don't know if that is athleticism or learning the defense. Mason puts much more on players cerebrally. On Tennison, the only thing I'd guess about it is that he's not picking things up enough to be productive. He's a really good player physically.
