Also hope Chaney gets his swagger back that he had at the beginning of the season and in spurts during SEC play

Broome got the calls today. Missed to many FTs.

Missed to many as a team.

Tournament basketball is a crap shoot

Strangely don’t feel much different after that

Same. Played a very tight game against one of the best teams in the country in essentially a road game.

Just looked at the FT breakdown. 36% of our FTs were shot by a guard the rest were by bigs. 100% of Tenn’s FTs were shot by guards.

Nah, I think it’s a much needed break and recovery time going into next week. We will see..

I’m admittedly a homer and eternal optimist with all things Auburn. But I’m not too upset and feel like we got exactly what we needed out of this weekend.

You keep saying this but I’m not buying it… like at all. I’ll give you the A&M game, but the other games the team hasn’t looked lazy or lackadaisical they just didn’t make some of the plays they made at the beginning of the year.

Wouldn’t be surprised if UF jumps us in seeding if they win today

If we didn’t have several losses to end the regular season it wouldn’t concern me at all, but I would be lying if I said our play hasn’t concerned me heading into the NCAA tournament.

Hoping we can find a groove in the tournament.

Yeah Tennessee is a good team. So was Alabama and Florida, and Duke. We didn’t get blown out today.

This I agree with, their effort is there but struggled with some shooting and FT’s when we needed it.

However, their effort is a positive and getting some streaks going in shooting will turn this around.

I'm not even upset. Florida and bama are playing the best ball of anyone right now. We aren't getting blown out. Losing close, winnable games. Had a lot of open looks but ball didn't fall.

I think we are in a good spot going to march madness.

I'd just practice free throw shooting all next week

We ain’t getting jumped. We are the number 1 overall. UF better worry about getting bumped to the 2 line. Not jumping to the 1 overall. They lose today and the winner of UTk and bammer might get that last 1 seed

I need to figure out a bot to respond to all these messages

We are a lock for the number one overall seed and have been for weeks. We have almost double the Q1 wins as Florida and have played less Q3&4 games than them.

Also I need you guys to also know that the selection committee doesn’t give a shite about conference tournaments. The might and I mean MIGHT pay attention to the first round or two. But they value the regular season (in its entirety) exponentially more than this weekend.

I agree with this. No one can touch our Q1 record. Committee has demonstrated repeatedly they don’t consider conference championship results. We are going to be #1 overall.
