Agreed. They definitely aren't doing as well has say 10 years ago. I understand the business side of it, I just hate it for something that is basically an Auburn institution. It is about as much apart of Auburn as anything.

To be fair, this was always how it was

Ever since the fire marshall started monitoring the capacity years ago, it's started going down hill. 10 years ago, it would take you 15 minutes to get from one side of the building to the other.

Yep. How Sky gets away with how many they pack in there, I will never know

That supper club card will never leave my wallet.

Feel bad for Cory. He just bought into the business not too long ago.

Like Velcro Pygmies, Trotline, 17th Floor and other classic AU bands, nobody in the younger generation knows of them nor cares

I agree with pygmies, but Trotline and 17th Floor?

They are still packed out every time I see them in Auburn.

Young bucks have no appreciation for the good stuff. Now, AU is bringing in Kesha and one of the Jonas brothers.

They don't draw the crowds on their name like they used to. Typically their performance is packed because either the bar/party was going to be packed regardless of who played

Hate to see this. Havent been there since the early 80s, but in the 70s we were so cool with our WESC card that opened the door. Mr. Lambert, Barbara, and Mildred all welcomed us to college life. Drank lots of beer there. That was before they had live bands and buses etc.
The Bird was cool back then. RIP

I knew a few of the people who worked there in the early 2000's.

guess they would be long gone by now.

Sarah (big titties)
Paulie

i think Sarah worked the 32 oz station for awhile. I knew them from working part time at Amsterdam Cafe while i was a student at AU.

Supper Club and Buffalo's were my favorite bars.

was fortunate enough to see them a few times too.

she was pretty drunk at the Christmas Party one year and after a lot of convincing, we got a show.

the other time was a after a wine tasting at Amsterdam Cafe. She did it out back in the break area.

I kept saying how it looked like they would pop out any minute just kind of joking around. I'd just sit there saying "Come on titty... come on titty."

she finally just smiled at me and shook her head and flashed me.

When I was a student the card (or club member) allowed you to go on Sunday's and drink due to the blue law. The original use of issuing cards was back when my cousin was a student and he was one of the first cards issued.
