Just made a catch. Thought some of you would want a heads up. Plus you get to watch some preseason football

Anybody know if he's had any good catches? I just turned the game on.

he had one good catch. across the middle of the field, ball was tipped and he came back and snagged it with a guy hanging on his back.

that's about all i have seen. had the ball thrown to him a could of times in the end zone but they were tough catches

First pass to him in the end zone was uncatchable.

Steelers' Dri Archer, Sammie Coates bolster an already bountiful offense

One preseason game against the Vikings is absolutely not proof that Coates has figured it all out. However, there were enough positives to feel good about. He caught one pass for 12 yards, but he had a shot at a long touchdown reception that was broken up by a pass interference call against Vikings' rookie cornerback, Trae Waynes.

Coates may have few chances to shine once Brown returns and this deep and talented receiving corps is set for the season. Against the Vikings, though, Coates made a strong case for himself.

Typical Coates was typical. Made a circus catch but also dropped a catchable TD. QB chewed his arse one time for giving up on a route.
