No disrespect, but Andy Burcham has been such a huge downgrade. The voice just isn’t right.
Rod had to grow into the role after Fyfe’s sudden passing, but he never lacked the right voice.

Agreed. Burcham does not have a captivating voice at all

Dyer was a thug. Mason had a mental health issue. Completely different. Mason's performance in the SEC CG against Mizzou was epic. 46 carries 304 yards.

Obviously, it would have been an amazing finish to that final drive and one for the ages. But Auburn had to do with Auburn does best and make it all the more interesting.

In hindsight, I am glad the Dyer TD was called back letting us bleed out the time. I will never forget the Tre Mason TD run and Heisman pose which left enough time for Crab Legs to pick us apart in the other game… that game had bad juju all over for us.

Can we start a petition to get rid of Burcham? He’s terrible. Rod was a homer sure but at least he had a great, memorable, theatric radio voice and knew his stuff. Feel like Andy did us a solid for stepping in on short notice but it shouldn’t have been extended. It’s a shame too because it’s one of those jobs you stay at for 15+ years

Am I the only one who thought at the time that Tre should have took a knee at the 1 ft line? Imagine any player doing that in a title game.
