He is busting some skulls on ESPN for SMU right now.

Would a former player thread to run during CFB season be fun or no?

Not sure but it’s worth trying. Folks that have been around the recruiting thread for a few years know I was a big McBryde fan. He’s a head hunter and should make it to the next level.

Glad he’s in better health now. Not that it means much but he has continued to be extremely complimentary of the Auburn football coaching and medical staff. Said be wouldn’t be playing now without them

AL.com (not sure which writer) used to do a "tracking former players" article for AU every week for a few years with weekly stats and updates. I don't think they did it last year.

It was always a treat to keep up with Tyler Queen's illustrious TE career at West Georgia on a week-to-week basis.

We process enough players now that I can’t keep up with it but if you’re down then you should do it. Most don’t do shite after they leave but guys like McBryde are worth keeping tabs on

10-4. Sounds like a fun project during a weird season. I will see what I can come up with.

Refresh my memory, why did McBryde transfer?

Major injury, got buried down the depth chart because of it.

Auburn wasn’t willing to clear him. I think they ultimately did but he used that to transfer instead of being buried.

Asa doesn't have a touch other than chasing this last kickoff out of bounds.

Jeez... What a miss he was.

Ended the game with 1 touch (a catch for 4 yards) and no rushing attempts...although Memphis had 48 team rushing attempts.

He was not a miss. Gus just didnt like him and would not let him be the starter because of that. He was the best we had on the team at the time.

I didn’t assume he did Just encouraging the guy to do it while pointing out its a tough task these days because Gus has his shite together and processes the weak.

Was happy for the McBride kid after all he went through. They said he was the leading tackler for them last year. It’d be great if he made the league after two other programs told him he couldn’t.

Good for him though! I bet that’s a big day for her with a roller coaster of emotion. I remember you saying a loooong time ago that you thought he’d be with you guys forever

That is my younger son. He is 19 and autistic. My 23 year old is the one who moved out. He is engaged to be married next year and has been dating this girl since high school. They got a apartment together. It was time....

My 19 year old will probably be with us forever. Or with someone. I am not sure if he will ever be able to live on his own. We are looking for a place in Florida that has a separate apartment or separate floor for him... There is a chance he could live alone but not right now. We are proceeding as if he will always be with us....

But yes, the wife is emotional about my oldest moving out this weekend. His room is empty and she was walked in there 20 times in two days. Weird cause she is not really a emotional person
