Oregon is gonna get smoked in the BiG next year. Since Pete Carroll left USC they have benefitted from playing in a very weak Pac 12

We had a transfer QB this year and it was mid season before he was finally given the reins. I hear what you and others are saying. Id love for a clear cut choice like Bryce Young enter the portal, want to crawl through glass to play for Auburn and we have an unlimited NIL to get him.
But that aint gonna happen. If someone of that caliber hit the portal the NIL would probably jeopardize being able to afford the rest of the kids we hope to flip. And why would someone of that caliber leave their school. So you will be left with guys that might be marginally better. If we dont find a clear cut improvement, just stick with what you have. And with this receiving corp coming in Thorne might be looking like Mac Jones when at bama, he tossed some that couldnt hit the side of a barn, you look downfield and Waddle had moved the barn

Maybe. But they’ve shown they could beat the B1G boys at least once when they beat Ohio State in 2021 at Ohio State. But their schedule will be tougher once they cross over.

Early reports on Riley is Notre Dame or Auburn. Interesting that he notified teams that he did not .want to be contacted so its sounds like he has made up his mind

The “No Contact” tag on his portal entry does make you think he’s made up his mind - he may have. But it gives the player the power to only reach out to teams he’s interested in.

You’re crazy. Oregon is a great program and the little10 has two good teams. The rest are very average.

Just watched his highlights from this year and all I can say is wow. The kid does look sharp. Wonder what are chances are on landing him?

Oregon is going to struggle mightily in the Big 10.

Money guys will come up with the money for a top talented QB. They get the need for a QB to win. I wouldn't worry about finding the money, and there are several top QB's that will enter that are more dynamic than Thorne. Cam Ward, Leonard and McCall are three that I know of right now.

Yeah and the 1 win came in 2021 showing they are now capable of hanging with/beating them in todays game.
