I think almost every standard season ticket holder would take worse seating location if it meant chairback seats

That is not true. The seating at JH is not spaced out enough for that many chair backs. There are a good many in my section and there is no space.

I agree on chair backs are good but there is not enough area for them. Its tight leg room and walking space with them. Especially when there are open seats in front of you and you have extra leg room

We will know, without a shadow of a doubt, that we have been rewarded handsomely once we see halftime adjustments and more than 5 different plays called on offense. What a breath of fresh air this is going to be.

But yeah, I agree. Ole JHS @ PDF could use some upgrades.

I 100% want chair backs

We are getting old and soft.

30 years ago I just wanted enough space to stand. Don't get me wrong, I like chair backs, video screens and wifi but those who demand them also complain about ticket prices.

No but the school can’t commit to a long term renovation that won’t put the school in a serious financial crunch. think they were so close 3 years ago that they in fact told ticket season holders in the N EZ to look for new seats if they weren’t going to pay a lot for premium seating. I don’t mind the smaller projects until we can free up some capital. The biggest complaint are the exposed framing in the N EZ makes the stadium look archaic

Like we did with adding the upper decks, just remodel the stadium in stages(East side, West, North, etc).

And add chairbacks in phases too, and see how the demand is before moving forward. Even if it is in areas that are not filled with season ticket holders...

As many Steeler games I have been to, I love chairback seats, and don't want anything less for a 3-4 hour event like football.
