Proud Of Auburn Football, No Excuses

I think back to the days after Coach Jordan when a bowl game would have been a big deal.
Look at our expectations today compared to the 70s. Now there is disappointment about the national championship, then there was disappointment over losing seasons.
Happy Thanksgiving and eat lots of turkey.

I wasn't alive then so my expectations of Auburn will always be set high. Times have changed and Auburn has changed. Since the arrival of Pat Dye we have shown we can consistently play winning football. That's what I expect.

It's hard to keep expectations low after '04, '10, '13 and the plethora of recruiting classes recently. I think most of us just expected 10+ wins this season, everything sans the schedule set up nicely.
There's also the added element of what they're doing in Tuscaloosa. If they weren't as good as they have been, losing wouldn't suck as bad. It's a nuisance for those that have to interact with that bunch on a regular basis.

I lived those years... Auburn graduate 1977... we sucked after Sullivan and of course Punt Bama Punt.

Exactly. Younger fans demand and expect more, as well we should.
