2020 2-deep and returning / incoming playmakers and weapons?
I'm re-watching the Iron Bowl for the 3rd time. War Eagle. While we all assume our Oline will be crap, or a project at best, we should have a bevy of stronger, smarter, more experienced offensive playmakers, assuming they return on offense, capable of taking some of the pressure off of our O line. Also with the addition of Chad Morris and our incoming and highly rated recruiting class, especially early enrollees, who do you think will step up or step in to contribute in 2020? Who will be earning playing time, possibly starting, as true freshmen? Who are you looking forward to seeing bust out next year? This list is off the top of my head of those who have played or will be counted on and I am sure I am missing several, but I get the feeling we won’t suck as bad as many seem to think. I think several have transferred or moved on, but I couldn’t dig that deep. We will definitely have some talent and some solid units. Kudos to our senior class and hate to see them go, but next year looks to be fairly junior heavy with several sophomores playing key roles. Is it too early for on off-season thread? 2021 may set up very nicely. Posibarner [ON]. (Roster info taken from AUTigers.com)

Tank going to be #1 RB. Good group of RBs I think.
I like what I’ve seen from Shedrick Jackson, but Seth and Schwartz are productive. I’ve heard about Matthew Hill, and I hope he evolves into a playmaker.
Bo Nix will likely improve. If he does, more playmakers will emerge.
The LB group is amazing. Got to find some production after Brown and Davidson. Garner turned Truesdale into an SEC defensive tackle so I bet he has some guys ready to play- maybe not a Derrick Brown/Marlon Davidson level, but quality reps.

Gus giving up micromanagement control of substitutions on offense?

We will have a few true freshman at the two deep - especially at WR. We have some great WRs coming in and you left out that stud Ryan Davis clone who was a true freshman this year but was out the whole year due to injury.

C'mon Lanier - frick that smiley face and add a bit. Seriously. Even if our DL takes a step back, our LB corps is solidx2m and dbs will have another year. Strength, film watching, recognizing, scouting, each taking care of their own jobs. Rocky and I are on the 15-0 'ship bus, and when it comes time, if even necessary, Imma jinx tha frick out of somebody and pull us through one certain team that has their frickin' coming.

QB: B (I'm excited to see Nix continue to improve.)
RB: A (As long as we aren't decimated with attrition/transfers, we should be in good shape. However, I wouldn't mind seeing Shivers shift to the slot.)
WR: C (Seth needs to take the next step, Schwartz needs to be more consistent. Depth is a concern.)
TE: B (In the current model, they shift presnap and then block people. Shenker was good this year.)
OL: F (fricking terrible. Hopefully this recruiting class contributes immediately.)
DL: C (BK and TD need to step up. Hall looks promising. Truesdale is solid. They have played some snaps, but we are losing 2 all-timers.)
LB: A (As good of a returning group as you could ask for. Britt, Zacoby, and Pappoe should keep getting better.)
DB: B (Scrappy group. All have played extensively.)
K/P: C (Siposs was okay, Carlson was bad. I think Carlson will improve.)

Javarrius Johnson - he will be a starter by end of season. Perfect slot receiver.

Add in Jeremy Flax (hopefully).
Wonder how Jackson and Manning will do. Two guys recruited as d-lineman that made the switch to OL.

I fully expect Harold Joiner to move to WR. Tank is the #1 RB in the country. He's going to be in the mix with Boobie and DJ. Shivers will be sweep guy / trick play guy. MAR is a mystery. He'll probably transfer after Spring ball.

Good group of blocking WRs. You left out Stove who is under used IMO. Seth will be forefed Schwartz second and stove 3rd in touches. THe rest will be like Sal and get a handful of looks

Best group of TEs we've had in a while. Hopefully we use them.

RG Jackson
RT Hamm
Best guess?
On defense hopefully Big Kat and Nick Coe play better. Newkirk Coyniss and Truesdell gots to stay healthy
Secondary and LBs will be

Brother, Tank will not be the #1 running back over Whitlow and DJ.
#1, he wont have the game. #2, have any of you not paid attention to Gus.
