Would you have taken KLS or Ryan Williams this year specifically? Which guy do you think presented a greater threat to opposing defenses this year? I'm an Auburn fan till I die, but I'm never gonna simp for my own team and not see the truth. Ryan stressed defenses more period. KLS was damn good and should be drafted for sure.
You realize that KLS caught more passes, and still had a higher YPC than Ryan Williams, right?
At worst, they were "equal" in terms of big play ability. This is a very weird point that you are trying to make.

Truth is he stretched defenses less than KLS.
He had one less P5 TD than KLS and one less SEC TD than KLS. He also didnt disappear unlike RW.
You just want to be his waterpark.

Yeah RW DB-juking capability is just amazing. I saw that in his HS games but thought he will be controlled a bit in the college game. Totally wrong about that, kid is an amazing talent. If he gets a good QB and offensive scheme one of the next two years, he could be Heisman level. DeBoer had similar issues to an extent when it comes to inconsistent QB play. If he had a Tua/College Mac Jones-Bryce Young, they would be unbeatable.

Nobody is questioning the talent. KLS deserved first team over the All Name team where hype and flowers have already been presented

I have no qualms about that. Unfortunately team records do matter in the minds of people.

Come on Johnny, I usually agree with you, but using your benchmark TJ Finley should win the heisman, since we just grade people on their age.
And I got so sick and fckin tired of hearing about 17, 17, 17 I looked it up, his birthday is in February, I will celebrate it......or will we hear he is only 18, 18, 18.

Ryan is faster, Ryan is more explosive off the line. KLS is more sure handed and has better route running ability. I believe that defensive coordinators lost more sleep over Williams than KLS because of his ability to go 0-100 like I rarely see. KLS was definitely more consistent though.

I notice these two OL visiting are both IOL.
The one tackle I guess from Liberty we will get a look, hopefully.
On a sidenote, have you guys noticed that we are getting a lot of players from Maryland, and good looks, Durkin's old stomping grounds. Yet we have had some really good players come out of the western part of Virginia and we dont even get a sniff....and thats where Liberty is. Would think Freeze and the coaches he brought with him would have relationships in that area.

RW, Cam Coleman and Jeremiah Smith are all top 10 pick WR talent in the 2027 draft.

There is no rule that states hype and potential has to be reflected in every awards season even if it doesnt make sense or not. frick it lets just call him the goat already.

KLS is definitely a more seasoned and polished receiver. Personally I would have taken the electric ability and the score from anywhere threat over that polish this year. I understand if that's not how everyone else feels though.

We experienced that through Coleman. RW started hot, Coleman finished strong. Both were freshmen that sometimes played like freshmen.
My mr consistency guy is what we needed all year long.
