I remember when you said Bo Nix had no deep ball.
(Longest throw in the NFL this season)
(It also marked the second-longest “air yards” throw since the NFL starting tracking advanced stats in 2016)

The best thing for Nix was when he started going to a sports psychologist at Oregon. He was a head case, and it really helped him.
I think our kicker should be seeing one now. I think it would be nice to have one on retainer to see some of our players.
Also some players just need plain old psychologists as it is a troubling time at that age, especially with your expectations, parents, friends, family etc. It can be compounding especially if you aren't as successful as you think you should be. Ala kicking....QB etc...so pressure can be tough on young kids

Bo survived Auburn. He can survive anything and thrive in better locations. And he is.
His sports psychologist were big uglies and Terrence Ferguson

It has been proven over and over that dynamic QB play can overcome talent deficits. It also has been proven that shite QB play can hold a championship caliber team back.
Cam Newton and Nick Marshall are not walking through those doors.
Nobody disputes these exceptions.
If you have above average lines and "QB play" holds you back, that's really coaching 100% of the time.

Freeze has been given 1 of 2 things:
1) Everything he needs to make a run at the SEC or playoffs
Or
2) Enough rope to hang himself
We will know in 12 months which it was

Agreed. I’m pretty sure that’s what Saban did.

Is Ashford going to find a sports psychologist in his sixth year?

2019 comes to mind but Bo was young then. That was the year to need real competition hoping to win something. Both lines were pretty decent then.

If anyone needs one it's him. Maybe they could talk him into moving to a position where he would finally thrive and then get paid by the NFL. He has to be the last person on earth who thinks his natural position is at QB.

There are a few Auburn fans who still think he could have a shot

No excuse for Thorne. Thorne did what was expected of him. He plays the game he is benched he finishes the season with 3000 yards, 25 TDs, 9 INTs. Prior to the season any Auburn fan would have taken those numbers
We wouldn't have taken those numbers if all the good stats came from cupcakes like Thorne's did. Outside of the two cupcakes where he loaded up stats, Thorne's stats were:
2105 yards in 9 games, 234 yards per game on 264 attempts (7.97 YPA).He also had 11 TDs versus 9 picks during those games, so he pretty much wasn't good against any team with a pulse.
Mediocre OL play, stupid turnovers and penalties, and poor play calling were equally as big of issues as Thorne, but trying to act like Thorne wasn't a big portion of our sucking last year is just denying reality.
He can't handle pressure and once he has to go past his first read he struggles to see the field. He starts double clutching and then you know it's going bad after that.
Hopefully Arnold fixes those issues next year. We should definitely have the OL transfers to help him a bit more at any rate.

Good point. Sometimes you are just screwed if a coach decides to to with a talented true freshman.
Then again 2019 and 1990 with Stan White at 9 - 4 / 8 -4 were stellar season compared to what we've seen recently. Good gosh, We have been so sucky.

He was pretty average. He has been labeled an average QB all along. Attempts to sway me to believe he is one of the worst in the conference, much less the country is retarded. Not all 9 Ints were on him either.
His stats are too solid for that bullshite.

That record isnt all on him either.
Nor does it prove he is one of the worst in the nation.
