He had a higher QBR than Pavia did in the Vanderbilt game but we lost because of QB play while pavia is Hugh's daddy.

You're right, but Thorne was the QB during one of the most difficult times in Auburn history, so he'll forever be considered a failure by most fans. It's not (COMPLETELY)accurate or fair, but that's just how it is. Personally I'm glad that the page has been turned, and we can get some new blood and hope injected into Auburn football.

I feel like we should've had a few Jason Campbell types over the last 10 years. We recruit well enough but it's all about system and development. Cam Newton's usually only happen once in a lifetime

Nix got real lucky to have landed with Sean Payton. Otherwise he would have had a Bryce Young like welcome to the NFL.

We had Stidham and trashed him for “playing scared”
We had Bo and people called him Bo Pix… even though he protected the football very well even when he was a freshman. Everyone on here knows I know the family. They were devastated at how Bo was treated. They still love Auburn with everything they have but our fans were absolutely brutal to Bo
