Listening to a recruiting / NIL guy this morning. Said some teams have backed off Coleman because of the money and also his attitude. Guy said he will land somewhere and get his money though.

Some of our "insiders" said it wasn't about money. Mike G said he knows his dad because they went to the same highschool. lol He claimed that Cams father mentioned that his son has enough money, but to paraphrase there were other factors at play. He also claimed we had a meeting with Cam alone, Cam's family alone, then he and his family together...... Someone's lying in my opinion. Hell, Maybe both sides are blowing smoke, but NOW I'm hearing that he's asking for too much when people said he pretty much wouldn't accept our VERY lucrative number? This shite makes my head hurt

I know what scouts say about the O being not running routes etc, can't determine...blah blah blah but it also means you don't have to have a great stud playing WR. Just someone who has good hands & can run decent.

Tennessee has had zero issue signing either. They have signed some of the highest rated HS QB's in the country the entire time he has been there:
2023: Nico Iamaleava (5-star, #2 QB)
2024: Jake Merklinger (4-star, #13 QB)
2025: George MacIntyre (4-star, $17 QB)
2026: Faizon Brandon (5-star, #2 QB)

They have had mutliple WR's drafted in the 3rd round or higher, and their current star WR from this past season (Chris Brazzell) will join that list in the upcoming draft. He has ~2nd round grades.

Golesh runs Heupel's offense. Jang is trying to argue that he won't be able to sell QB's or WR's signing here because the offense, but yet Tennessee has literally signed 2 of the highest rated HS QB's on the planet over a 4 year stretch.
They literally just signed the #1 HS WR this year as well
