Right now he is graded 3rd round or free agent, 3rd round is a little over one million a year. 2nd round 2.5 or better. 1st, depending on where, around 10 million.
Knowing he wants to prove himself in the SEC and in a system he knows well, Id say someone would have to outbid Auburn by close to a million for him to even consider "trying" another team, because he is walking into the perfect situation to improve his draft stock.

Vs. UTSA, became THE ONLY player in the last 30 years (FBS or NFL) to post 200 yards passing, 100 yards rushing and a 90 percent (14-15) completion percentage.

If you think about scheme and familiarity, between a new coach and his proven QB, this is as close to striking gold as it gets. For that, he should be No.1 overall because none of the others have that benefit taking everything into account. And for those that are thinking “rebuild’, this isn’t a rebuild but win now move and that will become clearer the closer we get to January 2nd

I got your point. Daniels was told to hit the road once Brown was confirmed.
I don’t want all of USF to transfer, but it’d be a good sign that some of their top players follow Drago. When Haskins came to Auburn, hardly any Boise players wanted to follow him, and none of their top transfers followed him.

What is also beneficial is that Brown’s asking price isn’t nearly as high as some of the other top portal QBs. Most of the top QBs are going for at least 2m plus, starting out. Brown is asking for half of that, which allows us to pay Deuce more and everyone is happy. Now we can go spend more on other positions of need and QB room basically set, now and future
