That is the tough part, we have to sit and take all the bad news for two more weeks.

Kind of like Braveheart in the "hold, hold, hold" scene.

I think Ashton announcing could be a sign. I’m thankful for battling for us but I think we want to invest in only 2 QBs financially in Brown and Deuce. Not paying a 3rd QB much, QB being one of the most expensive positions and can use that money in other positions of need

Rumors are, that Brown will play at Auburn for a very reasonable amount and wants the chance to ride with Golesh and prove himself in the SEC. Deuce will make almost as much, if not more

Brown is the best dual threat QB in the SEC the moment he sets foot on campus

With a coaching change, especially someone like Golesh, he sets the standard and control. Some players that may not be used to being as controlled, might not be very susceptible to it. The portal offers them to be in control of their own destiny, not a incoming coach

Ashton Daniels to the portal.

Doesn't surprise me. This is it for him. He wants to be somewhere where he is guaranteed to be the starter. That's a good sign we are getting Brown, IMO.

In 2023, only two QBs in college football had 3k passing and 7h rushing. Two. One was Byrum Brown and the other was Jayden Daniels, who won the Heisman. It was Brown’s first season as the starter

I’m merely suggesting that Marcel Reed and Lanorris Sellers are both good qbs with proven SEC experience….

Have they thrown for 3k and ran for 1k in a season in major college football? But yes, I get your point.

If no other QB in the SEC has done it and he has already, I don’t see why that wouldn’t be the expectation, right?

He fits more of the college game, specifically this offense, because of how much wider the hashmarks are in college compared to the NFL. He is freed up in space against players he’ll can run over or around

I’m sorry, “best” is not appropriate. I’m a fantasy guy, so I’d say he has the most points

I guess one thing I haven’t considered and hope is a reason these guys are leaving is change in accountability is tough - hopefully he is promoting a more disciplined, urgent and demanding culture. We need this so bad

Im gonna say what most people have brewing in their mind. If we fix the line and turn the portal into a net positive and Brown, I'm gonna expect to win them all if the unlucky bounces that went against us fall on our side.

Golesh shared a post on Instagram some verse about the most dangerous thing is believing it's always been done this way.

That should telll you how far out this weirdo coach we got.
