I’d kill right now for the WRs Nix had while at Auburn. Now if you want to talk about the Oline Nix had, that’s a different story. Nix is a different player than he was here too. Did you not hear in the PAC12 championship how they said he was seeing a sports psychologist? Nix was adrenalined to the max most games, and that’s why he made so many mistakes or bailed out of a good pocket a lot of times.

Bottom line is a QB's stat line will look much better with NFL receivers. Bo Nix threw for a ton of yards this year, but didn't throw all that many deep balls. His receivers got tons of YAC.
Thorne will be fine with a good O-line and some better receivers.

I think Nix just tried to be superman. The oline sucked but I think he said it best. He tried to put everything on himself. That probably didn't help him very much. I imagine the stress of trying to be perfect for auburn screwed with his head. He fell into his niche at Oregon and did very well

I said it while he was here. Nix wanted to win to much for Auburn. Tried to do to much. Was too much of a fan as a player

Which portal qb would be the best fit for auburn? Seems there's new group of entries daily. Not sure how many years he has but I like will Howard from ksu

I’ve heard Ward has been offered for one. If they want to save NIL money, McCall would be my pick.

Mccall would be a good one. I tend to think those incoming receivers know they will have a good qb throwing to them

Predictions. 24/7 doesn’t have but a few predictions out. I saw Ryan Day tweeted something about getting Ward, and then he deleted it. Take that for what you will.

I see Vandagriff is transferring to Kentucky. Didnt Kentucky have a portal QB last year that many on this board were clamouring for, Leary or somesuch, didnt he want a fortune, why would Kentucky be bringing Vandagriff if their million dollar transfer was so good?

He had Seth Williams and that was pretty much it.
Even the flash wasn't a good receiver. He did the end around well but that is a running play.
