On the pick 6 play, Thorne threw to the wrong side of the field. Play design was to the field but throne thought the slant over the middle was the better option. Dude got baited and he ate it hook line and sinker. Cost us the game

I'm not placing all the blame on Thorne. It was a bad play call that was poorly executed and the absolute worst possible time in the game.
Missed FGs and blown assignments in coverage also played a part in the loss. But I'm sorry, QB gets more credit than deserved in wins. Same goes for losses. He's a fifth year senior QB and team captain. The reality is he is gonna catch some flak playing like he has played.

Agree with all of that, but again, CHF chose his QB, keeps him in there, and this is the result. As long as he's on the field, he's going to keep doing Payton Thorne things.
At some point, you have to laugh at it or just walk away.

In other news, I went back-to-back 10-3 in my CFB pick'em the last 2 weeks. So there's that. Better than my 2-9 week one debacle.

Thorne is the same guy who has been here for 2 years. Not sure why anyone is melting down.
Last year he was bad because we didn’t have WRs that could catch so we rarely threw the ball.
This year we have WRs that can catch however they make plenty of mistakes but Thorne throws a very catchable ball. To his WRs and to defenders.
Regardless Thorne still gives this team the best chance to win ball games.
However, I’m not sure after UGA that you don’t start splitting reps between Hank and Walker to get in game experience for both. You probably still try to limit Walker to only 4 games played so he can red shirt.
But here is where we are. Play the guys that give you the best chance to win or play guys to develop for the future. That’s the $6 million dollar question. That is what Hugh has to decide. He has my support until the end of the 2025 season then I will evaluate where our program is.
