This mentality of "they're just college kids and they're off limits" is just something some people are gonna have to let go. These "kids" are paid now. And paid handsomely, in a lot of cases, to make plays on the football field and win games.
This is big boy football and they aren't amateurs anymore so if they can't handle criticism from the fans, they may want to see if they can find something else to do.

I'm not blind to current day. Carson Beck's car cost about 2x what established HC Gus Malzahn paid for his 50th birthday present.
I still don't get the connection that "now that they're gettin paid" makes any difference. Calling a college ATHLETE a 'loser' because his coach insists on trying to shove a square peg into a round hole doesn't get us anywhere.
Auburn had 1 turnover this game, which had that been the case in the previous 2 losses, might have been W's instead.
But it was late in the game. A terrible play by the QB on a sus call from the HC, but sure, place all the blame on the kid and not the man who recruited him and put him on the field in the 1st place.

In the 0 cover with the 5 wide why wasn't there any helmet comms to check out of that play call? Hugh has to utilize his options better. I watched them look to the sidelines multiple times in the first half and it seemed the correct play call was run. The second half I didn't see that as much. They Also started going faster instead of slowing down like they had been doing all game. They have got to figure the playcalling/reads out. I thought yesterday was the game that determines the rest of the season. We may surprise one team and beat ulm. 4-9 isn't a great showing for freeze in year 2.
