He got saved by the receivers all year

I'm no Thorne defender (though I think the hate on his here is ridiculous) but I don't know about this. They have had plenty of drops turned INTs and dropped on would be TDs that have cost us a couple of games. KLS is the only guy who has been consistent all year.

Don't take sacks in crucial moments? What, do other teams' QBs only get sacked in the most opportune moments LOL?

Let me rephrase: throw the ball away instead of taking a sack that results in a punt instead of kick or clock running out.

I agree Payton has continued to give his best effort in every game, and he should be recognized for continuing to battle every time he was called on. I also think it was great that he won his last game in JHS as our starting QB.

However,…..he consistently made the same mistakes that several times cost us games.

I wish him well, but I will not miss him.

The third and 25 scramble was impressive.

I know I’ve criticized him.

I just hope he brings his best game this Saturday.

I’m not sure Brady could have been better when Percy Lewis was starting.

Passing game starts with protection.
We have skilled receivers- especially KLS and Coleman.

Fairweather has not had the season I thought he might.

Football is hard. Thorne played better Saturday. Feeding Hunter helps.

I cant say I will miss him unless I have to. Can always get worse.

I wont miss this growing pains offense we have dealt with though. The false starts. The freshman mistakes. The inadequate blocking. Hopefully we distance ourselves from this shitshow.
