I agree I don’t think Freeze is a great game day coach since he’s been at AU. Is he worse then only 1 coach? No.

As opposed to the guy who didn't recruit anybody for 2 years and left 50 scholarship players (half or less who were actually SEC 2-deep caliber). I would say that it was pretty well destroyed before Freeze got here.

Take either Cam Newton or Nick Fairly off the 2010 team, and tell me how that season ends. We did not have ANYONE that even comes close to the level of Jayden Daniels. That's the glaringly obvious difference.

Agreed, Freeze is not a great in-game coach but he is just okay. I think all coaches make in-game coaching mistakes but some are masked by the talent that's on the field.

Just a small part of the story. He also did not call plays on gameday. He hired and relied on a great stream of coordinators that coached the games and helped in practices where Saban ran things and developed the players
Those players did not just get out there and play. They were coached up bigly by a great stream of coaches

our coach can’t build a bowl eligible team in 2yrs. That is hot dog shite. Can’t win 6 games when 4 are basically gimme's. Nobody knows what the future holds but our coach doesn’t judge success based on the score board. Smh

Just a quick look around the NFL for the last 10 years speaks volumes. Remember when the natives where restless his 1st couple of seasons and the coined the phrase "the process"? Keep in mind, Alabama wasn't anywhere near the dumpster fire that Harsin left us. There's a reason why we have Freeze....... he was the biggest name that was willing to take the job. Give the man some time, he's got a hellavu mess to clean up. We have WR & RB covered. Good, young talent on defense. Shore up the OL and get above average play out of a QB, and the whole outlook changes.
