Is he really an inside LB?
He’s fast, but he gets caught up in the wash a good bit.
I just wonder IF he’s more suited to outside.
Will Britt play soon?

He was never a ILB. He's been out of position by necessity.

Nope. He is a free safety playing Lber.

Due to injuries he has played ILB out alot this year and is not a good fit. He is an OLB.
As far as everyone saying he is too small...it seems people do not really pay attention to our defensive scheme. Our Scheme is not made for LB to take on OL on a consistent basis. Bama and UGA run a base 3-4 which they need bigger LBS because they are required to do so.
In Steele's scheme, 4-2-5 The DL are supposed to eat up the OL and keep the LBs free to make plays sideline to sideline. So the smaller faster LBs are a better fit.
Would it be nice to have a bunch of guys that are 6'3 240 who can run like Pappoe? Of course...but that is the exception not the rule.
A big part of our LB struggles in the run game this year have been due to not having a dominant DL like we have in years past. D. Brown and M. Davidson have truly been missed this year.
