On his podcast Raw Room with former LSU star Jalen Collins Bates touched on some things going on within the program right now.

First, some funny comments about coaching buyouts and what could be the problem with our playcalling lmao Video Link

He didn't lie.

"Some of these dudes think theyre gonna get drafted because they roll up on Saturday wearing an Auburn jersey...That ain't how it works, bro." And he is 1000% correct. The amount of trash talk from some on our defense because they made a tackle 10-12 yards downfield is downright embarrassing. And DB calls them out to. I'm glad because someone needs to.

Talk about a guy who was the product of poor development from coaches and got into the NFL off of pure measurables...I remember thinking Darren Bates was going to wreak havoc in the SEC his fr year and then he never got better

I was there in 2012. Daren Bates was out running around like the lights were on and nobody was home.
