I understand this and is the primary point I'm trying to make, although apparently not very successfully.
Not meaning to single out smuphy, and like I said I would never ask anyone to censor their posts. However, it's pretty clear in this new landscape things are more fluid than ever so all of these people who keep posting things as if they are set in stone are fooling themselves. The retort when being wrong can't always be, "well [insert rival school] dropped a bag so now everything has changed". Of course that's what is going to happen on the elite guys.

The paysite information that we post and reference is often wrong and we often complain and shite on those guys too. Just part of the deal. We also celebrate when JLee hangs his balls out of his pants and drags the competition the times when he’s REALLY right
At the end of the day this is a message board for overly interested fans and if part of the experience is that some of the information is wrong then I’m cool with it. Most of what we read is wrong anyway, always has been. I don’t think it’s nefarious, it’s just part of the deal when everything revolves around the whims of teenagers and their new NIL deals.
I don’t want people in here playing pretend and blowing smoke up our asses just for good vibes either. There’s a balance. This thread and recruiting in general has been fun. Smuphy has been feeding me information for damn near 15 years now and his track record is pretty good.
Just my thoughts. Randy wasn’t really even being that big of a dick. Smuphy is a grown man, he can take a jab about his post being wrong. Folks don’t need to go knighting for eachother unless it’s someone respectable and admirable like Ellitor
