When reality slaps the Auburn board square in the face

Ryan Williams played against the Auburn version of offense yesterday in that All Star game.

All three of the Fire's QB's were a version of Payton Thorne. They had 5 star receivers and they either threw bad passes, or the OL didn't block well, welcome to Auburn Ryan.

He will be all crimson and I would say he would choose Texas if he had a change of any plans before Auburn.

IT wont. He has played long enough to be better. He is not our QB. Not the one we need which is why we should have been doing everything we could to improve at that position from day one.

Any why is he leaving Lane?

NIL and his numbers dropped cause Lane wants to throw the ball almost every down. They had some good WR transfers come in last year and Dart improved so they went away from the run a bit.

DL from a&m raikes visit has went well. Reportedly cancelled his next scheduled visit.

OL and DL are the priority in the transfer portal. 2 OL scheduled to visit before classes start on the 10th

Auburn is evaluating several QBs but only will pursue a perfect fit.

2 current Michigan defensive players, DL and DB have reached out and are considering entering the portal as soon as their season is over. No name given but said to be talented and Auburn would be near the top of their list if they decide to transfer

This honestly could be our best bet in the end. I know that the young kid came in and threw it around in the bowl game but I dont personally want to pick Hank as the guy due to 4 throws in the end of a shite bowl game. I do however like the way he looked

If we cant get anyone, I think the season is a bust next year. In that case, we should sacrifice the year to bring a QB along. Weather it is Hank or White. It would be nice to have a multi year starter over trying to make hay with Peyton again.



But my first choice is to bring someone else in. Still
