You don’t need a waiver anymore, NCAA has no nuts.

Corch, new NCAA rules do not require a waiver anymore.

Judge ruled that to be an invalid rule.

While true you still need to get the approval with the waiver. However with his situation I would assume he would be granted a waiver

That is how we got Jackson from Cal.

I want to see how Salter does against this Oregon defense first. He was one of the top QB recruits coming out of HS though.

And Salter has been running the RPO the past 2 seasons. Not saying he has elite talent but he’s a solid QB that understands RPO

I said he had an offer, which he did. I said it was down between Miami and Auburn, and I’d feel pretty good about it if he didn’t commit to Miami after his visit. And I said he was expected to visit this past weekend.

He never had a visit scheduled.

Sure he didn’t. Think whatever you want.

No he made up the entire storyline hoping it stuck so maybe a QB savior might come.

Sure corch. Just like Freeze is 100% riding with PT and not looking for a portal QB according to you.

He may not have the OL to do well against Oregon overall. He has a live arm, and can run the RPO. I would be willing to take a chance on him and compete. Unless another QB is available that we are in on?

You dipshit. No one said we wouldn’t go after a QB…everyone has said we won’t pay 1-2 million for a 1 year QB

I’ve said clearly PT is a mid QB.

Whoever the QB is next season we need to be chunking it around 30 times per game. 40 rushes 30 passes. Playing with pace.

“We have to go get a portal QB” - Me & Jville

“We’re not paying $1-2 million on a QB” - Corch

“Ok go get someone cheaper” - Me

“People need to drop it. We’re focusing on other positions” - Corch

No waivers required anymore. NCAA has already released that any player that transfers will be immediately eligible regardless of how many times they have transferred. It’s been discussed ad nauseum. It literally up to the player who wants to transfer and the school that wants the player.

The approval IS the waiver. I don’t even know what that is supposed to mean…an approval with a waiver But again, they don’t need either right now.

Sam Jackson from Cal is a beneficiary of this new rule.

I have always been on we go get a portal QB wagon. I know Freeze said he looks to be riding with who is in the current stable, but that is foolish in my opinion. I hope he proves me wrong.

Can we find a loop hole to get Nix another year and come back to Auburn?

Salter said playing for Chadwell is easier than Freeze. He said with Freeze you had to look over shoulder for fear of getting benched. Said Chadwell told him he is the guy no matter what.

ETA: Bo Nix just broke Oregon's TD record. Passed Mariotta.

I’m no GM for a pro team but there is no way I’m taking Drake Maye over Bo Nix.

This is a deep QB class coming out.
