Do you know which schools?

South Carolina, Tulane, Utah

South Carolina and other college football teams are currently in an NCAA-mandated dead period that runs through Jan. 11, 2024, but there’s a four-day window (Jan. 3-7) for transfer portal players in which they can make campus visits. “Haven’t set up dates, but (Loggains) mentioned me coming up there for a visit,” Ashford told TheBigSpur last week. A later report from the account College Football Edits on X (formerly Twitter) said Ashford had set up visits to South Carolina, Utah and Tulane.

We literally got Thorne's HS WR. What does that tell you?

It tells me that Freeze can’t convince any WRs that have actually played WR in college to come play with PT.

It's all coming together now... Since recruiting went better than expected, the "bammer" negatards gimmick is to talk shite about Thorne all off season. Good luck with that turds!

Could be gas from the tacos, but I have a feeling he's going to light it up in the bowl game!

And Robby a starting QB at a Power5 school

I’d say it’s more “bammerish” to want Auburn to continue having subpar QB play with PT next season. If I were an Updyke, I’d be thrilled with him starting at Auburn again.

I got Ryan Williams sauces. My best friend knows a Saraland assistant coach and RW is 100% Bama and wants to sign on his birthday which is February 9th, he also said someone from Auburn was at every playoff game so some props to brother Hugh for the efforts. I’m hoping I’m wrong and Hugh can pull a rabbit out of his arse but looks like we lose this one. Sorry for the bad news.

Can someone explain to me how Domani Jackson was able to visit Alabama, meet with Nick Saban and attend their practice during the dead period? Does this not apply to transfers?

He just announced his commitment to them. If I had to guess he committed to them earlier which allowed his attendance at practice.

ETA:
quote:

Jackson walked onto the practice field with Alabama's director of player personnel Bob Welton shortly before the 15-minute viewing period at Dignity Health Sports Park for reporters mandated by the Rose Bowl. He watched from the sideline during Alabama's warm-up drills, with coach Nick Saban at one point stopping to shake Jackson's hand.

If Saban and Jackson did shake hands without him being committed/some sort of agreement signed then that is a violation albeit probably a small one.

I thought kids could visit the campus during the dead period. It’s only coaches can’t contact them off campus.
