It would have bought him another year, maaaaybe two. But the lack of recruiting would have caught up to him in the end.
His unwillingness to gladhand and socialize with certain people from day 1 meant no on field results would have saved him most likely.
If he wins the Bama game in 21, it gets harder to justify firing him, but he dug his own grave.

Harsin pissed off Bo from the word go. If Bo don't like you, eventually nobody will like you.

Roc Thomas transferred to Jack St. and played well enough there to get drafted

My chief complaint from that game is in the 1st OT, we kick to send it to double OT instead of trying for two. As we saw when we scored 2 later, we had a good play call for 2 that worked. Why not run it then?

Because potato fricker is a chicken shite

quote:Agree 100%. At that point, i didnt know about the rule change and was losing my shite over that bs spot the ball at the 2 yard line after double OT. Terrible rule change. The game boils down to a 2 point conversion after all is said and done? Such bullshite.

You just know Vegas had everything to do with that rule change too. Gotta protect the over/under

I'm 99% sure, much like the clock rules this year, it was done under the guise of player safety and/or speeding up game time.
Either way, it's the equivalent of turning a competitive basketball game into a game of horse.

quote:yeah thats the lie they tell the public and behind the curtain its all about the money. Games are shorter, but tv time is longer. Ad sales hit record highs and corporate coffers are getting filled. All at the expense of the fan.

It's why the P2 is inevitable

Just look at bowl season. No one is fricking playing for their team. Kids are opting out and the games are becoming more meaningless than ever. havent watched a single second of it. And frick betting on those games. too much chaos and unpredictability.
And it all stems back the Mark Emmert and the NCAA turning a blind eye to bama cheating during the early Saban years and ESPN providing cover for them by saying that they believed players should be getting paid. Fast forward a decade and look where we are at.

The Tulane/VaTech game was good for a while… sloppy conditions, pouring rain, lots of wet football turnovers.

His bio says he played at 6'6" 288 this year. That's kinda thin for 6'6" (for DT anyway). He needs 15-20 lbs or he better be a technique and fundamental god.
I was surprised he had grown that much when he arrived. Then I saw him in an interview and he said he had not worked out during the summer because of some minor surgery, shoulder or something. With a full offseason of training I bet he puts on the 20lbs you are looking for.

Pretty happy for that guy. He visited Auburn IIRC.
He has stuck it out there through coaching changes and Caleb Williams and he’s gonna get his opportunity it looks like

Maybe he’ll play so good tonight that we can get Will Howard.
