Can’t we just agree that both Gus and Haskins both sucked balls and move on?

No. Because everything is relative.

In other words:

Pabst is worst than Keystone

However both sucks compared to good American Bud Light

Stupidest couple of pages in a really long time, which is a huge step forward for the natives here. Really proud of us

Nope. Gus actually changed the game of football with his HUNH offense. He even had NFL teams adopting his offense. To say he sucked balls is a gross overstatement. Gus didnt adapt when the defenses caught on and his offense became stagnant.

Harsin just sucked in every facet of being a football coach at Auburn.

This is Harry Rex VonDouche. Bashes Bruce supports Harsin and hates Gus

Well played Harry, well played.

I get why Gus has both supporters and haters. Either side of the Gus argument can be explained.

I have no idea how anyone can support what Harsin did (or didn't do, like recruit) at Auburn. He left the program in much worse shape than he found it, in absolutely every aspect. Anyone who believes Gus and Harsin have some shared shittiness, is a troll.

Gus recruited well on paper, but go back and look at that 2020 class. Top 10 overall class and the entire class is either gone or has never made an impact. Tank is it and he underperformed due to having terrible teams around him.

Sorry for disturbing the Gus-Potato argument but is there anything new smuph? Any recruits you feel good about?

Freeze is out working both in recruiting and I think we will land higher talent as a result.

Freeze has also made the comment about recruiting that in 2-3 years if he doesn’t recruit at an extremely high level he knows he won’t make it. Plus he knows the talent level would take some miracles, luck, and some other voodoo to win big now so he’s working his arse off to get elite talent here.

I think it was quite the opposite. Defenses never caught on how to stop Gus’ offense with Cam and Marshal. Gus adapted by not recruiting high rated DT quarterbacks.

No doubt. But Gus also took us to the height of the sport and had us on the cusp more than once.

Harsin took us to the depths of the sport and had us on the cusp of irrelevancy.

Yea the fact of the matter is that some of the most iconic moments in Auburn football history have happened while Gus was on the sidelines as HC and OC. Anyone equating his tenure with Byron Haskins is a moron.

Stidham flat out said Harsin inherited the worst OL in the SEC and I asked why Harsin decided to ride with Gus guys and not recruit anyone.

Did anybody see Stidham’s retort to that?

BTW, is Brother Hew sticking with his inherited 7 OL?

Asking for a friend.
