Looks like the plan for the ‘24 class for high school kids is if you aren’t what we consider “starter” level after couple years we are moving on. We aren’t taking bodies to take bodies. We will do that most likely in the portal

Jourdin Crawford highlights. Like said before. Not fast, but quick inside. He’s a load already.

He has the frame and the skill he just now playing his junior year he will improve as his body gets used to being 300 lbs. And his coaching staff is solid

Always gotta keep in mind when evaluating seniors most are 17, juniors 16, and sophomore’s 15. You probably don’t expect them to be ready or expect them to play when they are 20

Does anyone here have a 247 sub? Is Clemente actually beating Cole or Jeffrey to any information at all? It appears to me that he’s getting worked by them but I don’t have a sub to 247 to confirm.

I have subs to neither but I think Caldwell and Pink are the best currently. Clemente just a hair behind those 2.

It's been hit or miss with almost everything this cycle. Every insider swore that Cam Coleman was ours till he wasn't. Every insider swore that Khalil house was ours till he was at Stanford. Every insider swore Joe Phillips was a Dawg till he picked Auburn. These people know more than us but not much more

The more we build the kids up the better they get at playing the game. Go to every school and tell them what they want to hear. Get social media followers. Build your brand. Then once it comes time to commit you have your 2-3 schools you are actually considering and grab the biggest bag

it’s just nauseating what a marketing ploy high school recruiting has become… it feels like most every kids goal is to market themselves on twitter for “offers”… I mean maybe they care about wins/losses, but you can’t tell. This goes for every kid from P5 level talent to DII.

It all feels fake… at least with quarterbacks anyway.

Honestly can't blame them from playing the social media game. If I was 17 I would've done the same thing. I wouldn't however do the hat switching crap. That's just clownish to me lol

JLee had the scoop on the safety commitment when nobody else did.

I’ve yet to see a scoop get picked by Clemente before someone else.

Agree on Jason as I know he has a direct line of communication with Freeze.

Ryan Williams visiting for two straight home games is interesting. Is there a legit chance we flip him in the future?

There has been decent chatter the last few weeks. We have a puncher’s chance. Who knows how it plays out, but we have a shot at him for sure.

I get what you’re saying and there’s some truth to it, but social media is where a lot of marketing sales takes place. If a player has a big following and is active on social media then he has a good chance of picking up some side gigs that aren’t as big name as say DR Pepper commercials but 5-25K plus from several small advertisers can add up.

It’s what NIL is really supposed to be based on.
