I'm lost. That was the crux of the original discussion last week.

No my original statement of Sammie having stone hands was the start of the discussion. The comparison between the two came up later.

I felt like Sammie and Duke both played themselves outa the first round tonight. IMO.

I agree with him. Both need to come back next year and work on their draft stock. Both guys could be top 10 picks with another year of college seasoning.

Well neither of them were in the first round before this game so they definitely didn't play their way out of it. Even if they were though, one game wouldn't change anything

Dude, WTH? Sammy and Duke may read this board. You don't know. I will never play flashlight tag around you.

Sadly elite catching skills have dropped over the years in football. They're not many elites anymore with that skill.
Unless you're white...,amirite? Anyone?

Ricardo also had a drop. Sammy and Duke had numerous.

Bray did not. He usually does not even though most of his routes are screens.

They all looked like shite for the most part. We did not see Melvin Ray catch one but I dont think he had a legitimate chance.

Sammie gives up on passes way too easy, very frustrating

Pretty much this, and this is why he won't make it to an elite category for now.

I agree with this. That last long incompletion to him it looked to me like he broke off his route way too early.

And am I the only old-school guy who thinks todays WRs just don't want to leave their feet for passes just beyond their fingertips? Frickin' Beasley, Tillman, and Sanders would get those long bodies stretched out in the air to bring those balls in.
