Troop was a dirty recruiter, more than the average coach. It's no coincidence the NCAA was constantly snooping around. He was pretty good at covering his tracks, but it's not worth the risk IMO

Not worth discussing anymore. The boat has sailed on him being at Auburn. Our program needed a clean sweep and that is what CGM did. Time to move on.

The fact that he alienates the fan base this much, and that this is a constant conversation/discussion is enough reason for me to be okay with him being gone.
Because if we know this much and hear about this stuff, imagine how much else goes on that we don't know about and that others, like Gus, hear and know about.

Makes no sense to be still wishing or wanting Troop at Auburn as if it were still possible. Dude is gone and as I have said before, the fact Malzahn let him go after 3 yrs working with him is good enough for me.

Malzahn has already said that he needed a new start. Trooper isn't coming back, completely fine with that.

Some of u are missing the point. I don't care that Troop is gone. Malzahn wanted him gone, so he's gone. Fine. But the tireless parting shots about his "dirty" recruiting are unnecessary and beyond old.

Troop is not a dirty recruiter , he is not nor has he ever been in trouble with the NCAA. some minor secondary crap. Just part of the Bammer babble that unfortunately some naive Auburn fans also repeat without a single fact.

When I was a freshman at AU I was at a party at one of my buddies in creek side, I met kris frost and his "girlfriend" who lived next door to my friend who had the party. The girl was given a 100$ bill to take Kris to the movies directly from trooper. If you seriously believe that every single SEC program is not dirty then I would suggest living your entire life by the phrase "Ignorance is Bliss."

Are secondaries that penalize you from recruiting not REAL anymore? Every school does them, but to say that it isn't a real violation is a joke.

What you can't deny is all the shite surrounding AU under Chizik and his staff. Legit accusations or not, too much negativity (btw allin i know you like to be clever and call it bammer talk, but it was wide spread media, so frick you very much). Also, if Trooper was vital to our programs success I believe Malzahn would have kept him on. He didn't.
