Really? Here are his teams' rushing statistics (yards per game/yards per carry):
A&M 146/3.8, 114/3.2, 118/3.4;
E. Car. 138/3.3;
Miss St. 158/4.35, 137/4.2, 95/2.9, 137/3.5, 100/3.0;
Kansas 134/3.4, 160/3.5;
then with Gus in the Sunbelt, 217/5.2.
And his teams were more frequently than not in the 90s/100s in sacks allowed. But hey, maybe he's a late, late, late late bloomer.

He's the recruiting coordinator too. That would be pretty big to get an experienced recruiter like him. He played with Rocker.

Seems like every freakin year Garner's name comes up... we need an actual coach on the DL, not a recruiter. If he's coming here to coach TEs and be Recruiting Coordinator, that's fine.... but I feel like we've all been down this road with the last two hires we've made since Bowden. Bottom line is I'd be very surprised if Rodney Garner ever coaches for Auburn.

I have no idea. I would think Garner hes a pretty good D Line coach and recruiter though.

as i understood that mix up it was due to chiz saying that (if he kept his job) he'd look to hire watson as an OC next year.

He wasn't even good as OC at Louisville. Chizik deserves to be fired if that is who he was going to replace him with

I don't disagree with you. Just stating that i was led to understand that watson was never really being considered as a hc but rather an OC if chiz had been retained. But it's auburn so perhaps he was being considered for AD.
