Have we all been walking down stairs the wrong way? Is Diamond a visionary? These are the important questions of the day.

My stair sources tell me that this could be indicative of soreness, which may indicate additional practice reps.... COULD DIAMOND CRACK THE 2-DEEP?

The lack of news from practice lately tells me that we're trying new secret sleeve combinations. Louisville will not know what hit them

I don't have a problem with most who the coaches chose for first team especially since they have staffers fill that shite out anyways

I do have a huge issue with Avery Young, a great 3 year starter not making 1st, 2nd or 3rd team when Devonte Danzey makes 3rd team

I was going to post the "Cowboy Sodomy" song from Family Guy LINK. I wasn't upset w/ your post, or anything.

Since I wasn't certain about the ruling I would get, I deleted it.

Notable quotes from last night. LINK

quote:

GUS MALZAHN

** Malzahn says the team is getting into game-type specifics for Louisville. "Both coordinators were pleased with our kids attention... Overall it was a powerful day."

** Tray Matthews is back "full throttle" running around after his injury.

** Running back Kerryon Johnson also returned to practice.

** Malzahn says he feels good about the overall health of his team

** On Byron Cowart's recent tweets of frustration: "He's a young guy. He's going to be fine and he'll be a very good player for us."

** On playing in the Georgia Dome: "In my experience we had a home field advantage. Our fans really like us playing there too. Our goal is to start there and finish there, and kids our kids are looking forward to playing a really good team." He says he doesn't have a preference playing on grass or turf.

** On Braden Smith: "He's getting more comfortable inside. He's extremely strong and extremely powerful and a very good athlete. Playing inside just takes a while... but I think he's in a real good spot."

** Malzahn says he feels good about the running back situation. "We have three who we think are pretty good."

** Top WR Duke Williams is still practicing with the second team after his disciplinary punishment.

quote:

WILL ADAMS [OL]

** Adams is working mostly at right guard. "Helping out where I can, trying to get in the mix."

** Adams says he's "definitely improved" and credits offensive line coach J.B. Grimes for helping him with his hand placement and pad level.

** On Louisville: "We're ready right now. We could go play them today. We have some fine details to clean up and we'll be definitely ready to play next week."

quote:

TRAY MATTHEWS [DB]

** Matthews says he's ready to go for the game. "I was just getting a little tight here and there."

** On playing in Georgia in first Auburn game: "Just anxious to be out there again. I'm loving it here... I'm just ready to play football again."

** Says defense has come along well. "Now that I'm back I'm going to be the one who's bringing the boom... It sets the tone for the defense and gets everyone going."

** On DB coach Travaris Robinson: "He's always screaming, yelling and wants everything perfect."

** Matthews says the defense has a good read on each of Louisville's quarterbacks

** "We have a lot of young corners and a safety -- Tim Irvin -- who is stepping up and doing his thing."

** Matthews wants to "bring the swag back" to the Auburn defense.

quote:

BLAKE COUNTESS [DB]

** Countess is "absolutely" ready to play multiple positions for the Tigers. I'm not a coach, I don't know how things are going to go, but I'm ready to play wherever I'm needed." Working at corner, safety, nickel and special teams.

** Calls Tray Matthews a "big hitter" and a momentum changer.

** Countess says the team is ready to play today.

quote:

CARL LAWSON [DE]

** Lawson on the hype surrounding his return: "I don't really care about that stuff. When I get praise for doing things on the field, I'll feel good. Other than that I need to get better. Every mistake I do is a chance to get better."

** Lawson has "no comment" on the Louisville offensive line.

** On playing in the Georgia Dome: "It's nice. The turf is really fast. I felt real light on my feet. I liked it there."

** Another Louisville question, another "no comment" from Lawson.

** Lawson has "no comment" on freshman DE Byron Cowart's recent tweets of frustration
