Cole speculating Kelly was the new DC and Allen being in Auburn are two different things. Since Allen being there can be confirmed.
Plus by all accounts it seemed Kelly to AU was gaining momentum until Fisher convinced him to stay.

So he's going to leave AU for the same position at SC? Unless they make him a co-DC or assistant head coach there's no reason for him to leave unless he's just pissed at Gus. Unless Gus has led him on (which I doubt) I would imagine he would've made a move sooner or there would have at least been reports of him leaving.

I could see Thompson making a move after NSD... But I'm with you, he's probably gonna stay.

He is about 2 years from vested retirement, he'd be an idiot to leave since he would have burned bridges at AU and UA.
