Because we are getting a juco QB Gus hasn't had his hands on since he was a freshman. Ever HS QB Gus has had at Auburn has fell apart.

I'm not putting White there yet but the rest have went backwards under him.

Bottom line

We don't have the starting QB on campus yet.

I feel like I am watching 2011 again

To me, if what Rocky and Gus want me to believe is true, we're fricked today AND we're fricked next year.

Because Cam Newton/Nick Marshall Part Deux ain't walking through that door.

Personally I'd like to have a coach that can adjust to the players he has rather than one that relies on the presence of Generational Players to succeed.

Almost ANY coach can succeed with Generational Players. How 'bout we get a coach that can actually, you know, COACH then.

bull fricking shite.

Are you serious, he threw the ball right into a stationary defender's chest who was like 8 yards away from him with a wide open receiver running right behind which was subsequently returned for a touchdown.

That was the worst play in a season full of awful plays.

Because Sean White is bad. Am I doing this right?

I woul put KJ at QB. JR at RB, and zone read. Give White a clipboard and make him a damn good GA.

I wish Sean had backward passed it instead of throwing it right to the other team for a Pick 6.

I don't disagree with you that Gus has a problem if he can't run his offense with White. He recruited White.

Gus is completely accountable at the end of the day.

However, you and others blaming Gus for White's failure on the field is amusing.

We will never be good with a Gus offense without a good mobile QB. It just won't happen

Yep. Cam had over 1,000 yds rushing in 2010 and Marshall had over 1,000 in 2013 iirc... We played in the national championship both years.

This is somewhat true. But there are plenty of those style of QB's out there. We just have to get ours.

It was blatantly easy to see early this year but no one wanted to see it. Errybody wanted a balanced offense. For some reason.

We need that style of QB to be great with Gus. Its just what he does best.

Who knows how the guys will be that are coming it. But what we have now is not working. Will not work and if we don't change, we are fricked next year

For the record, I'm not one of those people. However, Sean White's failure is not completely independent of Malzahn's.

Oh you're trolling. That makes much more sense.

Nevermind, carry on...

I was all on the White bandwagon earlier in the year but after watching him this season it is clear he isn't the answer. I understand he is a freshman but I have seen hundreds of true freshman preform better early in their careers.
