I think it was JGT that said Reed has a good chance to start for Mincy. As of now,hes been playing second team boundary corner.

I call BS. There's no way Reed is our best option here. He hasn't tackled anyone in 4 years and was soft as a wr.

I know it was just the spring game, but he looked d@mn good. Had some pass breakups and gave some hard licks.

Doesn't really matter what you call. It's a fact that Reed has been the #2 boundary corner so far this fall. DWI

ummmm, Reed (after Denson went down) was one of our best WR blockers last year. That dude had no problem doing that dirty work last year.

I believe Reed's athleticism will let him play CB at a high level and IMO he will get a shot, maybe as an UFA, at the next level. It is criminal the talent that was so grossly misused by the previous staff. Makes you wonder...

Not much left to wonder with the previous staff. They were idiots that had no idea how to develop a lot of the talent they had

They wanted to play Therezie at RB.

Therezie wanted to play RB because he wasn't getting any playing time. Coaches let him because he was probably going to transfer if they didn't.

True. Which makes the previous staff even more inept for not finding a place for therezie to play on defense.

Meh. That staff made many mistakes but I don't think there was ever that great of a spot for Therezie to play in that D. He's not really a true Safety and he's not big enough for LB. But they probably should've stuck him somewhere with bad our Defense was.

It was requested and at the time we didn't have a ton of quality depth at RB considering Blakely was a nutcase

I think he should have been at safety from the start. He's got great speed, and he's so compact and hits so well. He's a lot like Bob Sanders.

Ruffin has moved from CB to Star per AUC. Given how deep the Star position is this leads me to believe the talent and quality of depth at CB is better than many of us probably realize.
