Right, it was more about the success of Barkley than the rumors about Gus.
Those turds will twist and do anything to take things out of context and make Auburn look bad. Like "Auburn’s off-the-field turmoil doomed recruitment" Instead of saying "Unfouded message board rumors and piss poor reporting by our favorite hacks at 24/7 influenced Cain's decision"

I think Franklin is a bad season away from being in real trouble here.
I mostly just politely nod when they talk about their team, but the losses this year seem to be laid squarely on the coaching.
If they lose to Ohio State and Michigan again next year, it might get ugly.

Never been impressed with Franklin... without a transcendent talent in Barkley, he’s a 4 loss (minimum) coach.

Franklin has shown to be better than average recruiter but I would agree that he hasn't overcome the hump there at Penn State. Don't think he will and there will be rumblings but it might be a couple of years...
