There's uncertainty in Gus' contract?

Also Al.com knows less than our insiders and they don't know $hit!

But when questions arose regarding Auburn coach Gus Malzahn’s job security after the Iron Bowl loss, followed by offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey’s departure to Kansas and rumors about possible changes to Malzahn’s contract, it prompted Cain to essentially eliminate Auburn.

"I saw that and I just said, 'I can't roll with this,'" Cain said at today's Under Armour All-American Game check-in in Orlando, Florida. "I didn't know what was going on

Cain is solid, but I’m happy with how it worked out.

Coaches are selling Mark Anthony Richards on being the next Kerryon, he certainly could be.

We have these two it will be a heck of a haul at RB this cycle.

2 weeks after he’s already signed with Penn State...it’s not worth shite.

So he can’t roll with that, but he can roll with a program with a staunch history of sweeping issues under the rug?

A person would be naive to think that the BS our reporters were spewing wouldn't have some affect on some of the undecided recruits. I am shocked we didn't lose any of the committed guys.

Why? If I was a recruit I’d prefer stability over instability.

That was my point.

ETA There wasn't near as much going on behind the scenes as our media made it look like.

If the recruits don’t know that, or even have doubts of program stability it works against us. Not to mention our rival coaches are professional mud slingers on the recruiting trail and can hammer down on the negative reports. The whole ordeal couldn’t end fast enough for me. I seriously question the intentions of those that wanted the rumors to swirl. We are fortunate to not lose any commitments that we wanted so our staff did solid, but we DONT need to go through that again.

Yes and sad that some of us believed those goobs.

I've said it many times we have no real insiders. Even my friends that are former players don't know anything.

All that chatter from the writers and the fans did was cost us in recruiting. A lot of people look at things "where there is smoke, there is fire".

Nothing but two weeks of smoke with no fire that run people off. Or certainly had the potential to do so
