It’s unusual for how talented our team is but I don’t think there is a glaring omission.

I think last year his primary role was the less glamorous holding of the edge.
I mean he is 6'3 280, I'd imagine his most disruptive stat stuffing role would be from a passing 3rd down interior line play role

Then you look at the offensive system, which is very pass heavy, and the opponents played, which were primarily bad defenses, and then it looks sort of unimpressive.

Best DL in the SEC and no first teamers, typical FAKE NEWS. This is a perfect example of why I don't buy into preseason polls/all whatever, it only matters at the end of the season anyway.
