And he's one of those runners where it looks like he's running at about 80%, but he's outrunning their entire defensive backfield.

I still laugh at the memories of some folk wanting to bench him for Jeremy Johnson.

Some of those throws are unreal. He twice dropped a dime 30-40 yards downfield in between two LSU defenders. I haven't seen those throws since he was here.

Let us not forget some of the dimes he dropped on long passes downfield that his WRs flat-out dropped.

Wheel route @ TAMU

And yeah. Lots of people wanted JJ. I’ve maybe been overboard on the anti-backup QB because he isn’t the answer to all your teams problems even though every fanbase always seems to think so but it started there.

Let me assure you that tradition is much older than that! (And I plead guilty in participating in that tradition at times. But I *always* fully supported NM.)

I forgot the absolute beating we put on Tennessee that season. I just looked at the stats: AU wins 55-23, AU: 444 yds on the ground with Marshall putting up 215 of that rush total himself.

Just eye popping yardage piled up running that season. It was a thing of beauty.

The Nick/Tre handoff magic trick was really something. So flawlessly executed sometimes that it was absolutely indefensible. Nick with 1000+ and Tre with 1800+. Not sure we’ll ever see that again.

few stupid things happening cost us that game

Let’s not forget our man blowing a hammy on kickoff and that is the lane they run it back for a TD. That hurt.

I love thinking about, watching and discussing that season. I dont like the final ending but that's about it. We got spoiled when we got in a position to win it all and just fell short. I think we all forgot where we were just a season before.

That was a magical season and one of my top 3 in my Auburn history. Some of those games and those wins were just incredible.

Once that offense got a few games under its belt, it was more fun to watch than any Auburn offense ever for me. You knew what was coming. You just couldnt do anything about it

Like I said, there were a number of just odd things that happened. And lets not forget that FSU team was stacked and a very good team

I remember calling my friend after the Iron Bowl and he was in a state of shock (let's put it that way), very fun experience

I always block the BCS NCG though, I don't think I remember anything from that night

Ran the RPO like nobody else.

I was screaming "Watch for the fake, they're going to fake it" before it happened too.
