I’m definitely not into making “assumptions”
But I hope I’m not missing the point entirely either.
I’m just trying to make the point , that the last true freshman QB we started is arguably on the doorstep of winning the Heisman Trophy in a couple of weeks.
I’m not holding my breath on a “Savior” from the Portal…but I haven’t completely given up on the old fangled notion of QB development either.
I’m fully onboard with shopping the “open market” that is the Portal…
…and then?…come August?…we have ourselves a good old fashioned Quarterback competition at camp.
Then, we’ll have something to bitch, moan, and argue with each other about.
Unless I’m mistaken?…that’s the kind of stuff we all come here to do in the meantime?

Probably need both options available. Get a Transfer guy and give one of the young guys a strong look. Personally, I would rather go with the young guy if possible and just build a few years with a started

Again…I’m not in the habit of making assumptions…
But?…I’m not opposed to HOPING we have an elite level true freshman QB either.
It’ll all get sorted out by next August one way or the other.
I just want the baddest motherfricker under center that’ll kick arse, take names, get shite DONE, and get us in position to not only compete for championships, but frick up everybody’s shite that thinks they can stand in our way.
