so you draw the line at hookers but overlook all of those coaches serious issues haha

No those guys all likely did dirty recruiting and football related things. Which Freeze also did. But freeze also had other sexual baggage. I don’t personally care about that, but when your hiring the face of the program and we have already been in the middle of headlines for scandal for a decade, I’d prefer the cleaner candidates who I also think are better coaches anyway

My biggest issue with Freeze is that that program was so out of his control. I’m not above cheating and strippers

But you gotta have an iron fist on what’s going on and Freeze was weak in that regard. I’d prefer others but like I’ve said - I won’t be offended and he’d be on my list still

I think it would end in disaster. Would be a fun ride though.

Will somebody please explain the Cristobal hype to me??? The guy can’t win in Oregon; playing the likes of Cal, Oregon State, and Washington. I just don’t get it.

The biggest plus for me with Cristobal.......he knows OL play and can recruit it.

He would basically be a Kirby Smart. Great recruiter, but we would have to deal with the gameday coaching.

I basically heard a similar message prior to Gus. We will see.

Willie Anderson
@BigWillie7179
Ok I was just told who the hire is gonna be . We’re gonna get behind him and cheer on @AuburnFootball . Let’s go!

???

He has like 8 or 9 4 star composite olinemen in his past 4 classes (21, 20, 19, 18). Auburn has had 2 in the same time frame. One of his lineman is probably gonna go third overall and is considered one of the best OL prospects this decade.

If you want to explain what you meant by that comment please do but right now it makes no sense

Mario has two conference championships as a HC, one in a P5 conference. He recruits very well. On paper, he is the best option outside of the unrealistic guys.

There's no way we fired Malzahn to hire Kevin Steele. Hiring Steel would basically kill all interest in the program. You don't pay a 20 million dollar buyout in the middle of a pandemic to do that

I've been telling yall for over a year it will be Steele. It's the most Auburn thing we could do.
