I’ve only had one bad experience with a Bama fan and I went there. For the most part I can shut them up.
But there is this one grandpa that wasn’t even loud or anything but he always acted liked Auburn didn’t belong in the same conversation with Bama. That one got under my skin after a while.

Everybody hates Urban Meyer.
But if we could pull off hiring him, we are a championship caliber team almost immediately.
We could stack up a few trophies before he inevitably gets caught in a scandal or has health problems.
We would have a really fun 5 years with him.

This is going to be terribly unpopular, but I will turn it loose anyway.
What if we had hired Jimbo in 2012. Where would we be now?
I really don't like the guy, but he beat us for a championship in 2013 and has a chance of taking A&M to the playoff this year with fricking Mond at QB.
Can't argue with his results...

I dont think it is support, per say. At a minimum, people would be open and give him a chance. And he isn't apart of the BBQ bunch.

Urban, yeah, I guess I'm a hater because I have a memory. He also isn't coming to Auburn so it really doesn't matter.
I know Auburn would never bring in Kiffin, so I say Napier is the best candidate. Make him say yes and be done. Got to give him complete control, however.

I agree. Sarkisian doesn’t excite me.
Honestly, I was meh on Cristobol and still unsure if Napier’s a good hire.
I’ve wondered about Matt Campbell and Tom Alan too.
Think I’m just exhausted at this point. Only coach I can think of that would truly excite me is Bob Stoops
