You can really see Pettiford gaining confidence. We need somebody to step up and get hot 2nd half other than Broome

I will take that half. I would have liked to keep that double digit throughout but if our D can maintain that intensity I feel we can come on strong in the second half.

Need our guards to get going. We will have to weather a Sparty run or two and Broome can’t do it all- don’t and can’t expect MSU to shoot that poorly in the 2nd half.

MSU getting away with just about everything around the rim on defense. Meanwhile we’ve gotten called for a few very weak bumps.
We’ve gotten lost a little on some of the screens/switches and left their travel ball player (Jaxon) open and he’s made us pay. Offense has been most effective when working through Broome. Keep that up until they stop it. Guys are gonna have to knock down the open shots when they get them.

Yes- defense- we will have to weather a storm I fear- sparty will be hungry on the offensive side of the ball. They had open shots, they just missed them.
