I don't think it was that they didn't care - Johni and CBM especially just react badly when things don't go their way or they don't get calls they think they should get. Their body language changes, they sulk and they gesture at the refs while the other team is running down the flour. There is nothing to suggest our team is “thugs”.
CBM is a stupid bitch. Has a lot of things he needs to sort out and appears to be trying to do it so much so that his on court game effectiveness has been diminished.
Sounds like you may have a bit of racism in you. Describing our teams as “thugs” and the other team as “honkies” is kind of ignorant.
This is for you and anyone else on the board. No coach or player is above criticism but the ignorant attacks toward this team from the fanbase the past couple weeks has been stupid. The core of this team has worked their asses off for AU stayed out of trouble and won more games then any Auburn group ever. But for the ones on the board or anyone posted on the social media I would say if you can’t stop acting like petulant children you might need to skip watching games. We are at the point that the hay is in the barn. We are who we are and we can win our next 5 games but also in a tournament setting we can lose any game. It is what it is.

We have some who have been reading their press clippings. This team has played one game with urgency in a solid month. I just don't get how you can show up to the Tourney and play like you don't give a shite. Hopefully those players snap out of it before they blow a shot they will probably never get again............unless it's in Portugal, China, or Korea.

I re-watched the thread. My analysis is that we have some fans that are watching too tight. The fans aren’t in sync. I’ve noticed it since the Kentucky game. Prior to that they had swagger and confidence, but since A&M some fans just lost it. Kenpom had our fans ranked at historic levels of confidence. Now, Drake fans have passed us. Drake!! I looked up the stats; our butthole clenching ratio is at crack a walnut levels. Our intoxication and anxiety levels are up too. I don’t know what the spouses are doing to help. Apparently no one is getting any to relieve the stress. I blame them and our lunatic fringe. What else can be said?
I pray our fans turn it around and realize the magnitude of this situation.

Yeah I don’t think it’s anything to do with our players are thinking high and mighty about themselves. Having as many Quad 1 wins in a historically dominant conference has come at a price. Basically we have been redlining the engine and throttled back after winning the SEC championship. I think ASU game was the first one after any kind of a break. Now that the rust has been knocked off, I fully expect them to be firing on all cylinders against Creighton after a days’ rest and recovery. If not, we get sent home, as simple as that.

About 24 hours less of a break than the week before.
Lose to Bama Saturday afternoon, play Ole Miss Friday midday. Lose to Tennessee Saturday afternoon play ASU mid afternoon Thursday.

Third honestly that word is rarely used among white people and I mean this honestly I don’t think I’ve heard a white person in person say that word in over 10 years. There are definitely racist people in every ethnic group but to think in 2025 that white people are throwing that word around is a little short sighted as well.
