I am beginning to feel that we would be better served going for Odom. Less drama, less disruption to staff, plus we will never get a sound system and video board if we keep over paying for coaches. 1.5 should be our max.

I still don't see anyone relevant reporting anything. I'm still waiting to see someone in the media report there is something to it or a deal in the works. All they're doing now is just giving their opinion of what it would take for USC to get him or why they would be a good fit.

Eh. The Drama is among fans, mainly USCe, who are desperate to believe. It would be SO STUPID for them to make WM any guarantees. What makes them think he can win there, but not at UF? Spurrier himself is all the proof needed of how difficult it can be. Just don't see it.

Except for PM, who said yesterday he expects WM to be named w/in the week. Said you would hear things like this at USCe, but to ignore. This is just the final provisions being worked out IMO.

Anyone who thinks a school is going to pay him 4 million a year to be a coordinator is stupid. I don't know how desperate USC' AD is but I definitely wouldn't spend that much, plus offer him a guaranteed spot as HC after sucking at UF, just to get him to be a DC for 2 or 3 years.

My question is why would SC, who is in the same divisional conference as Florida, think Will Muschamp could win at SC when he couldn't do it at Florida? Doesn't make any sense. Even once Muschamp is ready to take on a HC'ing gig, do you not think schools in the east would look at his time at Florida and pause?

Nailed it. PM said shite like this would pop up in the days to come which only makes me believe what he, and other "insiders" are saying. The bottom line is all signs point to the good guys and anything else is just BS to stir the pot or get clicks on a website.

Can't blame them though. They got "Oh so close", and even SOS couldn't swing a ring there after winning a couple-few at UF. How in the hay-yell is WM going to win there?
