Bruce covers for all of his players and that is why players love him. He covered for the white boi shooter too.

I don’t know he’s leaving as NIL value won’t be high. Sounded like he had these issues in HS and that minimized his options. Of course I could be remembering that wrong.

Bruce talking to Jahki in the background during practice today. I trust him to do what’s best for Jahki. Bruce and Auburn are tops right now and it will be a bad look to abandon the team so hopefully Jahki realizes that sooner rather than later.

Jahki’s parents are a part of the calculus in these situations. If they’ve given Bruce full reign to coach him and do as he sees fit, bruce has a much longer leash because he cares about the kid.

Not sure if you are asking in jest… it began with the plane fight, and then moping around during the non-conf slate and now carried over to conf play where he got benched against Tennessee for poor effort. My pure speculation is he thinks he should have a bigger role because of his talent and not happy he does not, without considering the fact that he has been a sour puss.

I would differentiate a little in my description of the UT issue. The problem wasn’t the effort on the floor so much as it was his response to getting benched and chewed out.

Bruce chewed him out for not staying in Lanier’s grill in transition and giving up a tough 3. That was Jahki not being locked into the scout. If you watch the tape he was hustling back in transition he just wasn’t locked into the Lanier scout. Very typical freshman mistake and one that Bruce could quickly forgive, but a consequence is that in a big game if you aren’t locked in you’re gonna get benched immediately. That’s what happened and he didn’t respond well.

Splitting hairs a tad but still

His behavior is kind of similar to Bryce Brown's his sophomore year but we were losing then.

It wasn’t overblown, He was sent to the locker room early in 2nd half of UT game for arguing with BP.

People come in all shapes and sizes , but every time I see our team they are having a blast with one exception.

Well in his defense, he is clearly better than the amount of playing time he is getting. Just a fact. His defense is the main reason he isnt seeing the floor imo. Comes in fouling and doesnt know his rotations well enough to be a step ahead of the offensive player.

I don’t believe it to be a fact. I’m a huge JH fan, but right now CBM needs to be on the court as much as he can.

In times JH does get increased chances, he ends up screwing up like the fight and then this latest issue.

We disagree there. Id rather have Howard on the floor than Moore.
